Brush & Leaf Recycling: Williams Township residents may drop off thier Brush and Leaves at the Williams Township Recycling Center on Morgan Hill Road April through November on the First & Third Saturday of each month from 8am to 12pm.  No Grass Clippings or other plants, and no plastic bags. These items will ruin the load and we will be unable to recycle the materials. The Compost Center is closed during the winter, therefor Williams Township will not accept leaves and brush during the wintertime.

*Williams Township will begin accepting leaves & brush in April 2017

 Items Accepted:

  • Leaves - loose and in brown paper bags
  • Small brush - up to 4" in diameter (no longer than 6 ft.)
  • Hedge trimmings, garden plant residue

 Items NOT Accepted:

  • Grass
  • Sod
  • Tree Stumps
  • Commercial business materials

Electronics RecyclingBeginning January 24, 2013 no person may dispose of a covered device or any of its components with their municipal solid waste! Covered Devices include: desktop computers, laptop computers, computer monitors, computer peripherals and televisions. 

You may take your devices to be recycled at the following:

Curbside Recycling Program: As of July 1st, 2003, Curbside Recycling is Mandatory/Required. Your current trash hauler will collect your recycling. We have private contractors/haulers that collect garbage throughout the township. Your neighbors will know which one is available in your area.

Compact Fluorescent Light Bulb Recycling Program: Please bring your used CFL’s into the Municipal Building, 655 Cider Press Road, for recycling during normal business hours. This is for CFL’s only.

Drop-Off Recycling Program: We have a drop-off Recycling Center located at 2300 Morgan Hill Road. The center currently accepts paperback books, magazines, newsprint, cardboard, aluminum, glass, bi-metal cans and plastic labeled #1 & #2 on the bottom. The facility is open every day for your convenience. Please note: All dropped off recycling must be separated and placed in proper bins. Please do not drop off trash at this facility.

The Boy Scouts will be at the recycling facility to assist you on the second Saturday of each month from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. Heavy metal will be accepted the second Saturday of each month only.

Williams Township can not recycle batteries
